Sometimes the origins of creation are not easy-other times they come from ideas, sparked from other reading and then re-thinking that initial inspiration. Colin O’Brian and Zachariah Sarkhon began after reading a two part story in the pages of the Savage Sword of Conan, where he meets puritan adventurer/swordsman Solomon Kane. Roy Thomas, I’m assuming wanted team up the two Robert E.Howard in an adventure. Conan is from the past Hyborean Age Undreamed Of and Kane in the future, during the 16th Century.

Conan is traveling through Kush on his way north following the death of Belit when he falls prey to the sorceries of the city of Negari. He is transported to the distant past when Negari was a city of Atlantis, where he has an adventure with Solomon Kane, who has also been transported to the past.

I thought, would that be neat if the two teamed up permanently, but knowing that fans would never accept them more an chance or accidental encounter, so the next best thing is create your own Conan and your own Solomon Kane and have team up in an adventure. I already had my Thuvians, which Prince Toreus Rhann and several literally previous incarnations was apart, so just create another Thuvian. Colin O’Brian, a name barrowed a Late Night talk show host-Conan O’Brian, who deserve the name being his was a dorky wimp and alter it a bit-searching some villain –base him a big John Buscema type, where as Toreus in my mind was always the thinner Barry Smith type and have meet the elder, white haired Solomon Kane. I already, also had several members of the Imperial House Clan of Sarkhon running about so create one. I cooked up Doctor Zachariah Sarkhon-a member of the Legion of Time Sorcerers, who was tracking down some villain. Both would be husbands to wives-that was inspired by two women in Fritz Liebers Fafard and the Grey Mouser another somewhat inspiration for Colin O’Brian and Doctor Zachariah Sarkhon-and give a spin-make them into the Honeymooners female cast members Alice and Trixy, but swords, like a Conan swordswomen like Robert E.Howard created. Come you don’t I was going to put in a New York tiny apartment like the Honeymooners, do ya. Captain Colin O’Brian with Rachel O’Brian and Doctor Zachariah Sarkhon, with his wife Ivhanna Sarkhon, would travel around in a star ship the SS Scarlet Shadow, fighting among themselves, like Ralf Kramden and Ed Norton, while the wives comment and criticize put up what idiots their husband are thumbing around trying to figure out how get out of some problem during an adventure. Two competent heroic figures, but all too human, who fight over what to do during an adventure and how to do it., Colin O’Brian get on each others nerve, than shut and solve a problem cool headed and logically.

Colin O’Brian-Thuvian Highlander, Thuvian Ranger

Captain Conan Erving O'Brian is frustrated by his lack of success, and often develops schemes designed to earn him and his wife Rachel O’Brian a quick fortune. Colin O’Brian is very quick-tempered, and frequently resorts to insults and hollow threats of physical violence. Colin O’Brians's thinking also is he knows best.He’d rather beat and punch his way in and out an adventure.Blast anything whatever with his blaster rifle or gun or chop and cut down a foe with Thuvian Short Sword,than use science or Time Sorcerer mystical zoodoo bullshit,as often says. Colin O’Brian stands around 6'2" and 210 lb (188 cm and 95 kg). mostly dark hair and blue or grey eyes " and a black "columned mane, with a huge, Green Thuvian Highlander beret, Thuvian Military Combat vest, Green Tartan sash worn over one shoulder huge sword at his side and a blaster pistol at his right hip. He also often carries a huge blaster rifle in one hand and the sword in another, ready to kick ass and not even take a few name, by Thrull Demons. Colin O’Brian is practically invincible in hand-to-hand combat. With his back to the wall so that the Thuvian Mercenary cannot be surrounded, Colin is capable of engaging and killing opponents by the score. Colin O’Brian is apart of a big family-four brothers and two sisters. They are a typical Thuvian family-They fight among themselves, but if you’re an outside enemy, the fighting O’Brian’s suddenly become all for one and one for all against a common foe or enemy. And woe to the idiot to pick on one of the fighting O’Brian’s Allen .Conner.Conan, and Duncan the four brothers and two sisters Mary Kate and Catharine O’Brian.

Editors Notes Captain Conan Erving O'Brian is actually a tribute to Conan of Cimmeria and also a parody send off/tribute to creator Robert E.Howard. It’s what if Conan was Robert E.Howard-loud, rude, stubborn, but saddled with a wife, who frequently fights and is forced to tell him off. Think Vincent DiNorfio and certainly not Arnold in character. He might his build but the mannerisms are Vincent. Swaggering, shooting off his mouth, bragging. So forth.

Rachel O’Brian-Shardaukhar

Rachel O’Brian is Captain Conan Erving O Brian’s patient, but sharp-tongued wife of roughly nearly 15 years of marrage. Rachel O’Brian often finds herself bearing the brunt of Colin's insults, which she returns in fine form. She is bitingly sarcastic and very level-headedwhile her husband is , trying to convince her of his side of the argument or cause of whatever adventure,he usually get her and the Sarkhons into while aboard the SS Scarlet Shadow. Colin O’Brian of the stupidity of his various schemes, which makes him lose his temper. However, Rachel O’Brian is considerably unruffled and never fazed by Colin's constant threats to strike her "one of these days,Rachel bang zoom..."-Rachel O’Brian,of course is a wonder woman and could handle herself anyway,if Colin did,not he would. She was beautiful, intelligent, strong, yet still possessed a soft gentle side to her warrior spirit.Rachel O’Brian acquired her abilities trained by the Shardaukhar Warriors,who claim to be so good as warriors,they desided to become interstellar mercenaries,using their skills and mighty star ships to protect and defend any world and anyone from the dark forces of evil.. Under the Shardaukhar guidance, Rachel O’Conner learned martial arts and weapons skills, and engaged in adventures that encompassed a variety of many worlds,until she Coilin O’Brian during one of them.The two travelled back to Terra-Prime,while aboard the Scarlet Shadow and set up shop for a few years,with them settlingly among the Pangean Lands and travelling about the many world plates of that dysonsphere..

Rachel O’Brians,has fought many villians-Swords Women,crazy Warlord ,who hold whole cities upon their planet with tyrannical might,Kalladan Star Pirates and so on,with or without her husband..

Editors Notes. Rachel’s most likely Alice is she played Lynda Carter TV’s Wonder Woman and frequently had tell big mouthed Conan, to why just shut the hell up. She has to watch for Colin O.Brian, because he’s too dumb to watch for himself or he’ll get himself into big trouble.


Doctor Zacheriah Sarkhon
Doctor Zacheriah Sarkhon is considerably more good-natured, if mysterious Time Sorcerer. than Colin O’Brian, but nonetheless trades insults with him on a regular basis. Doctor Zachariah Sarkhon (typically called "Sarkhon " by Colin-rarely does the Thuvian Ranger call the Wizard ‘’Zack-something the half Atlantean/half Delkhonean hates. ) often gets mixed up in Coiln O’Brians's schemes and methode of operation.how how solve problem during their many adventures, Zachariah Sarkhon long on scientific explanations,carefree and rather coldly logical nature usually results in raising Colin O’Brians's ire and patience,who believes that quick methodes and quick answers will result in solving any problem.Time Sorcerers mystyerous ways and tricks are just complicated for the big mouthed Thuvian Highlander, while the Thuvian Highlander often showers him with verbal abuse and only gets often insulted by the Chronomancers sharp wit, tries shoves him around, and throws him out of the star ship-that’s when he can.since An Atlantean Time Wizard is not easy to be thrown around.. Doctor Zachariah Sarkhon the Shadow dressed all in black, with a rangy, gaunt look, pale, gloomy demeanor and.cold, green eyes He also stands at about 6 feet'2 1/2 inches tall,on a thiner,if sturdy frame,than the his Thuvian Highlander partner. The Time Wizard wears a billowing black duster,under his dark cape and wears a hat resembling a fedora.actually a slouch hat. Doctor Sarkhon carries a veritable sixteen century style Time Sorcerer’s arsenal, comprising a rapier, a dagger, and pistols, and isn't afraid to use more than one at a time. Like the Shadow, Doctor Zachariah Sarkhon can use Time Sorcerer abilities to confuse and evade an opponent. Sarkhon-a slim figure cloaked in black fought mobsters, evil scientists, crazed old men and foreign invaders with two blazing gun and a sword rapier, the Time Sorcerer often laugh that chilled the hearts of evil. Doctor Zachariah Sarkhon’s origins are mysterious, but he may be one of the lost Atlantean Colonies-such as Neitherweird or Alpha Tellus 4.It is known, his parents are an Atlantean on his father. Count Gideon Solomon Sarkhon and a Delkhonean on his mothers side Anna Kothonn. Doctor Zachariah Sarkhon being knowledgable about vampire lore and werewolves natures has hunted down and fought Vampires, such as members of the House of Dracula-a royal Atlantean Family ,cursed an ancient mutant decease, that causes Vampirism and Werewolves in his day-alien beings, who somewhat resemble the mythic creatures, He’s fought holo demons ,who have haunted moors near cities on various planets ,Medusan creatures, whose cybernetic coiled headed long hair, resemble metallic snakes and paralyze victims like long whips for weird experiments and re-animated zombies, by nano technology, to enslave poor beings by mad Voodoo Witches, and other weird creatures like Holo Wraiths. Since the time wizard knows a lot of about the so called the Atlantean occult world and supernatural created by the Elder Ones of the Old ‘’Maveric ‘’Universe.
Doctor Zachariah Sarkhon has what appears to be a two flintlock looking pistols.They actually are energy blaster, that Sarkhon picked on his many adventures and only resemble flintlock pistols...

I’m thinking Doctor Zachariah Sarkhon is a mixture of Robert E.Howard Solomon Kane, The Shadow,-pulp hero, who cloud evil men’s mind and fighting crime, with a network of other heroes and Gabriel Van Helsing. writer/director/producer, Stephen Sommers, Van Helsing (film)


Lady Ivhanna Sarkhon
Ivhanna Sarkhon more good natured than Rachel O’Brian is to her husband, Ivhanna Sarkhon, often trust her silent husband, but she often think that it is Colin who is the big off, always picking her husband. Ivhanna Sarkhon acquired her abilities trained by the Shardaukhar Warriors, who claim to be so good as warriors, they desided to become interstellar mercenaries, using their skills and mighty star ships to protect and defend any world and anyone from the dark forces of evil... Under the Shardaukhar guidance, Ivhanna Shatterstar-a member of the Imperial Shardaukhar Royal Family learned martial arts and weapons skills, and engaged in adventures that encompassed a variety of many worlds,until she met her future husband Doctor Zachariah Sarkhon .Two travelled around his Star Palace until they made their way to the dysonsphere world of Terra-Prime

Editors Notes. Ivhanna Sarkhon finds herself trying to keep peace between her husbands Zachariah Sarkhon and big, dumb Colin O’Brian, while also trying to keep the Rachel O’Brian from telling her husband off to much. She also finds it hard to bring her husband warm, human side lost under years of Time Sorcerer training and Delkhonean Warriors training.
Despite family bickering and being abusive to their dysfunctional group, in the end Captain Colin O’Brian are formidable opponents. Conan can fight with way out of any obstacle, like a berserker force of natures, especially with Dr. Zachariah Sarkhon and wives on their side. The four are a force to reckoned with and few enemy survive an encounter with them or least way regret coming up against them. Like Rachel O’Brian, Ihvanna Sarkhon has fought Swords Women, crazy Warlord, who hold whole cities upon their planet with tyrannical might, Kalladan Star Pirates and so on, with or without her husband Doctor Zacheriah Sarkhon
