Chris and Joe Charles had decided that this would be the Christmas Eve
that they would finally get the answer to their question. Was there, or

was there not a Santa Claus.

They let Mom put them to bed early without a fuss. Luckily, Christina,
their kid sister put up a struggle and took attention away from the
boys. Christina was not in on their plan. She was too young and,
besides, she was a girl and they were both of the opinion that girls
cannot keep secrets.

They knew the legend well. All the kids did.

Every Christmas a starship from the Christmas Planet would visit all
the Colonized worlds and leave gifts for the children. A mysterious
figure known as Father Christmas, St. Nicholas or Santa Claus manned
the starship with a crew of small robots.

The Charles family lived on the planet Tau Ceti III, some twelve light
years from the Motherworld. Tau Ceti III was known as Orca and was a
lot like the Motherworld. Its northern hemisphere, where the Charles
lived, had a winter and when the winter solstice arrived they
celebrated Christmas, just like on Earth. And on Christmas Eve the
Starship would arrive and deliver gifts to all the colony's children.

when they saw two human eyes starring wide at them from behind a pile
of cargo netting.

"You're not supposed to be here," the ever serious Richard said to the
scared child.

"I know," she said. "It was an accident."

"Stowing away on a starship is against intergalactic law," said
Richard.

"Ease up, Rich,'" said Tim. "She said it was an accident."

Before Richard could reply to his friend the two boys happened along.

"And who are they?" asked Richard.

"I'm Christina Charles and they is my brothers."

"They are your brothers," corrected Richard.

"That's what I said," protested Christina.

"Chrissy," Chris said, running over to his sister. "What are you doing
here?"

"I wanted to see Santa too, so I followed you."

"You know you're not supposed to be here," interrupted Richard.

"I guess," said Chris. "But our sister got caught up in the levitation
beam and we had to follow her."

"Just the same..."

"Rich," said Tim. "Why don't we just let the skipper figure this out?
They're kids for cryin' out. I bet this happens all the time."

"Okay," Richard nodded. "Let's take it to the Old Man."

Chris was scared as he and his siblings followed the little bears
through the corridors of the ship. He did not know how much trouble
they were in but he imagined that it was quite a lot. Chris was a
worrier-which-he guessed-spared the twins the need to worry
themselves.

The ship looked even bigger on the inside than it did
outside.

An elevator whisked them up several decks and they stepped
out on the bridge, which seemed to be in a dome up atop the vessel.

All around the edge of the bridge elf robots sat at
controls, looking at screens. The bears took them over to another brown

bear who sat at a control.

"Theo," said Tim. "We got a problem."

Theo, who looked like an older version of Tim looked at the

children and nodded. "I'll say we have. Stow aways."

"We're sorry," said Chrissy.

"As you should be," Theo said, standing up. "But you're
lucky. The captain of this ship is a very kind and generous gentleman.
In fact that's him up there now."

Theo pointed up to the captain's chair on a catwalk above
them. In it sat a portly male with a white beard and pilot spex. He
wore a red spacer's suit with a red hood and white trim.

"Santa Claus," said Chrissy in awe.

Nick Kringle looked down at the children from his captain's chair.

Ordinarily he would be happy as punch to see children. But
not here and not now. This might be his star sleigh but it was still a
working starship and a working starship is a dangerous place for
children.

Nick started down the ladder toward the stow aways, trying
to keep his merriest smile on his face.

"Well, well, well, "he addressed them. "We seem to have a
problem here."

"All we have to do is go back to the cargo bay and levitate

down," said Chris.

"That would be a long trip. A long trip indeed."

Nick gestured to the forward view screen. Which was black.
The children looked in that direction, their eyes bulging and their
jaws dropping. They knew that there are no stars in hyperspace.

"We have already departed your world and are on our way to
our planet via a hyperspace tunnel."

â€œShe followed us,â€ growled Chris. â€œWe got to get her
or something bad will happen.â€
Both boys jumped to their feet and headed for the levitation spot.
But they were too late. Chrissy reached the spot and was lifted up
toward the gaping hatch of the starship.
Chris reached the square first and was swept off his feet and into
space. Joe hesitated and looked up as his brother disappeared into the
ship.
He almost decided to run home and wake up Mom and Pop, but would much
rather face the uncertainty in the hold of the big ship than face his
parents alone. Joe stepped forward and was whisked away.

Tim and Richard were surprised to find a little, human girl in the
cargo hold of the ship.
The two T-bears came from a small town in the equatorial forest of the
Christmas Planet and had signed on as seasonal workers on Nick
Kringleâ€™s starship. Both wanted to be spacers and Santa was the
foremost spacer on their homeworld. So theyâ€™d flown north to
Christmastown and applied for jobs as starship engineers.
And here they were going about their job of maintaining the starship
when they saw two human eyes starring wide at them from behind a pile
of cargo netting.
"You're not supposed to be here," the ever serious Richard said to the
scared child.
"I know," she said. "It was an accident."
"Stowing away on a starship is against intergalactic law," said
Richard.
"Ease up, Rich,'" said Tim. "She said it was an accident."
Before Richard could reply to his friend the two boys happened along.
"And who are they?" asked Richard.
"I'm Christina Charles and they is my brothers."
"They are your brothers," corrected Richard.
"That's what I said," protested Christina.
"Chrissy," Chris said, running over to his sister. "What are you doing
here?"
"I wanted to see Santa too, so I followed you."
"You know you're not supposed to be here," interrupted Richard.
"I guess," said Chris. "But our sister got caught up in the levitation
beam and we had to follow her."
"Just the sameâ€¦"
"Rich," said Tim. "Why don't we just let the skipper figure this out?
They're kids for cryin' out. I bet this happens all the time."
â€œOkay,â€ Richard nodded. â€œLetâ€™s take it to the
Old Man.â€

Chris was scared as he and his siblings followed the little bears
through the corridors of the ship. He did not know how much trouble
they were in but he imagined that it was quite a lot. Chris was a
worrierâ€”whichâ€”he guessedâ€”spared the twins the need
to worry themselves.
The ship looked even bigger on the inside than it did
outside.
An elevator whisked them up several decks and they stepped
out on the bridge, which seemed to be in a dome up atop the vessel.
All around the edge of the bridge elf robots sat at
controls, looking at screens. The bears took them over to another brown
bear who sat at a control.
"Theo," said Tim. "We got a problem."
Theo, who looked like an older version of Tim looked at the
children and nodded. "I'll say we have. Stow aways."
"We're sorry," said Chrissy.
"As you should be," Theo said, standing up. "But you're
lucky. The captain of this ship is a very kind and generous gentleman.
In fact that's him up there now."
Theo pointed up to the captain's chair on a catwalk above
them. In it sat a portly male with a white beard and pilot spex. He
wore a red spacer's suit with a red hood and white trim.
"Santa Claus," said Chrissy in awe.

Nick Kringle looked down at the children from his captain's chair.
Ordinarily he would be happy as punch to see children. But
not here and not now. This might be his star sleigh but it was still a
working starship and a working starship is a dangerous place for
children.
Nick started down the ladder toward the stow aways, trying
to keep his merriest smile on his face.
â€œWell, well, well, â€œhe addressed them.
â€œWe seem to have a problem here.â€
â€œAll we have to do is go back to the cargo bay and
levitate down,â€ said Chris.
â€œThat would be a long trip. A long trip
indeed.â€
Nick gestured to the forward view screen. Which was black.
The children looked in that direction, their eyes bulging and their
jaws dropping. They knew that there are no stars in hyperspace.
â€œWe have already departed your world and are on our
way to our planet via a hyperspace tunnel.â€
Chris swore.
â€œNow there is no need for that kind of talk,
Christopher Charles.â€
Joe tugged at Nickâ€™s utility belt.
â€œCanâ€™t you just turn around and take us home?â€
â€œCanâ€™t do that,â€ put in Tim.â€ Once
you enter the tunnel you canâ€™t turn around until you leave the
other end. And once we get to Christmas we have to refuel before we can
go back.â€
Chris swore again.
â€œChristopher,â€ said Nick. â€œIf this
behavior continues Iâ€™ll have to tape your mouth shut.â€
â€œSorry, sir,â€ Chris dropped his head.
â€œNow,â€ said Nick. â€œThatâ€™s better.
What did you three think you were doing out at that time of night on
Christmas Eve?â€
â€œWe, uh,â€ Joe stroked the deck with his foot.
â€œWe wereâ€¦â€
â€œWe were trying to vid your ship,â€ said Chris.
â€œWhy?â€
â€œCurious,â€ said Chrissy.
â€œYouâ€™ve all heard what curiosity did to the
cat, I imagine.â€
â€œMy Pop says that if people werenâ€™t curious
weâ€™d have never left the Solar System,â€ said Chris.
â€œA good point,â€ Nick laughed. â€œHowever
there is no excuse for not applying due caution with your curiosity.
Especially where strange starships and levitation beams are concerned.
â€œOur sister got sucked up,â€ said Joe. â€œWe
had to follow. Sheâ€™s family and family is more important than
rules. She might have got hurt.â€
â€œYes, quite right. Well I guess you three will have
to accompany us to the Christmas Planet. Then weâ€™ll given you
the visiting firemanâ€™s tour and send you home.â€
â€œBut our parents will be worried,â€ said Chris.
â€œI know,â€ said Nick. â€œBut it canâ€™t
be helped. Interstellar navigation is interstellar navigation. Anyway,
Iâ€™m sure your Mom and Pop will be delighted to know that you got
to visit a place where it is Christmas every day. A place that few
outsiders ever get to see. Not even the presidents of the big
interstellar department stores that think they own the holiday.â€
And with that Nick went back up to his captainâ€™s
chair.
Tim brought a tray with four mugs from the beverage maker.
â€œI thought you might like some cocoa. I know I do. Donâ€™t
worry, kids. We can hyperwave your folks from Christmastown.â€
â€œFTL phone calls cost an arm and a leg,â€ said
Joe, quoting Pop.
Richard laughed. â€œMr. Kringle is very generous. His
whole family is. Giving is their business. Now, we need to get you
three cleaned up and in your berths.
â€œFollow me. Take your beverages.â€

Chris, Joe and Chrissy were dressed in green spacerâ€™s coveralls.
They sat in couches on the viewing deck.
The stars came back. They were out of the tunnel and a blue
and white planet hung before them.

World-the Christmas Planet-a world where Christmas is celebrated all
Year around and Santa lives there, making toys for all the children in
The Milky Way Galaxy.-including Earth, where he was mistaken for a man,

Who lives at the North Pole.
Brother Christopher and Joseph Charles, along with his twine sister
Christina Charles become stowaways aboard the Santa's Sleigh-a star
Ship used by Santa Claus to deliver toys and gift from the legendary
Christmas Planet to all the many inhabitable worlds in the Milky Way
Galaxy, via its amazing warp drives engines.
On route, Santa's Star Ship malfunctions and begins to drift off
Course toward the Ebony Void, where time and space slow down around
Spaces most mysterious object-a black hole in space. Christmas
threatened all over the universe not to come this years, Santa Clause
must rely on the help of the two boys and their sister discovered
aboard his miraculous ship to help him fix his Santa's Sleigh star
Drive. Two do so they must given up three special gift given to them by

Santa Claus, that also contains major components to help fix the SS
ST.Nicholas warp drive. This of course is a secret test arranged by
Santa
Clause to see if the children are not selfish and are willing to give
up
their presents to save Christmas for all the other boys and girls at
the
Christmas Planet and of course everywhere else in the Milky Way Galaxy.
If
they are worthy, Brother Christopher and Joseph Charles, along with his

twine sister
Christina Charles becomes worthy to visit the Christmas Planet. A
greater
reward than the presents they were given secretly by Santa himself as
this
test.
The two brothers Christopher and Joseph Charles, along with his twine
sister
Christina Charles then journey to the strange distant world, where
Santa
Claus lives and his intergalactic work shop-that exist in the Great
Northern
region of the planet, where he parks his star ship.
SS ST.Nicholas. Christmas is always celebrated on the Christmas Planet
year
round between Santa Clause-aka Santa Claus, Saint Nicholas, Saint Nick,

Father Christmas, Kris Kringle as he is known in many other
places-countries
and distant worlds, believes the spirit of Christmas and goodwill
should be
only celebrated on December 25th,but all year around and seems to be
celebrity somewhere on some world any time of the year on their
December
25th.He shows the boys and their sister the Great metropolis known as
Christmas Town or Christmas City, as it is also called. A Christmas
parade-much the Thanksgiving Parade is celebrated at different times of
the
year, depending on which is celebrating Christmas at the peculiar time.

Floats, Great Thanksgiving day balloons, marching bands and Christmas
Coral
singers march past the Great Father Christmas Department store, located

central in Christmas Town. The Two young boys Christopher Charles and
his
younger brother Joseph
Charles. And Christina Charles are invited to ride in Santa Clauses
hover
sleigh at the end of the paraide, pulled those eight tiny rain deer of
tradition -Dasher - The first reindeer and the right-hand leader of the

sleigh before Rudolph was included. He is the speediest reindeer.
Dancer -
The second reindeer and the left leader before Rudolph was included.
She is
the graceful reindeer. Prancer - The third reindeer and on the right in
the
second row. He is the most powerful reindeer. Vixen The fourth reindeer
and
on the left-hand side in the second row. She is beautiful and also
powerful
like her companion Prancer. Comet - The fifth reindeer and on the
right-hand
side in the third row. He brings wonder and happiness to children when
Santa
flies over everyone's houses. Cupid - The sixth reindeer and on the
left-hand side in the third row. She brings love and joy to children
when
Santa flies over everyone's houses. Donner - The seventh reindeer and
on the
right-hand side in the fourth row. He is the "thunder" reindeer.
Blitzen.
Santa then invites them to his home St.
Sinterklaas-a great mansion with the lower end of Christmas Town, where
they
have Christmas Dinner with Mrs. Clause and family, plus the elves and
other
strange mythical creatures.
In the end, Santa Clause gives the Brother Christopher and Joseph
Charles,
along with his twine sister
Christina Charles new presents found under his Great Christmas Tree.
And he
takes them home and the SS ST.Nicholas star ship arrives just a few
minutes
after he left-making sure using it miraculous temporal space warp drive
to
arrive anywhere on any planet at anytime he wishes. This of course,
explains
just Santa Clause and his mythical sleigh can accomplish all in just
one,
single Christmas Eve night. The boys and sister stand upon the snowy
front
lawn, as the father and mother greet them outside-thinking they just
went
outside to play in the snow, that early Christmas morning. The family
looks
up to see a tiny streak of light-possibly Santa and his sleight being
pulled
by eight tiny reindeer into sky hearing him say traditional ''Merry
Christmas to all and all a good night.''.
Unknowing to all ,Santa Clause and his star ship SS ST.Nicholas is
moving
out of orbit, only disguised as a sleigh and eight tiny reindeer moving

outward toward the end of the solar systems, ready to warp back toward
the
Christmas Planet and onto Christmas for other boys and girls all over
time
and space.

Inexpertly find themselves aboard Santa Clauses star ship. St.Nick-Santa
Clause-Father Christmas, is actually a man, who comes from another
World-the Christmas Planet-a world where Christmas is celebrated all
Year around and Santa lives there, making toys for all the children in
The Milky Way Galaxy.-including Earth, where he was mistaken for a man,
Who lives at the North Pole.
Brother Christopher and Joseph Charles, along with his twine sister
Christina Charles become stowaways aboard the Santa's Sleigh-a star
Ship used by Santa Claus to deliver toys and gift from the legendary
Christmas Planet to all the many inhabitable worlds in the Milky Way
Galaxy, via its amazing warp drives engines.
On route, Santa's Star Ship malfunctions and begins to drift off
Course toward the Ebony Void, where time and space slow down around
Spaces most mysterious object-a black hole in space. Christmas
threatened all over the universe not to come this years, Santa Clause
must rely on the help of the two boys and their sister discovered
aboard his miraculous ship to help him fix his Santa's Sleigh star
Drive. Two do so they must given up three special gift given to them by
Santa Claus, that also contains major components to help fix the SS
ST.Nicholas warp drive. This of course is a secret test arranged by Santa
Clause to see if the children are not selfish and are willing to give up
their presents to save Christmas for all the other boys and girls at the
Christmas Planet and of course everywhere else in the Milky Way Galaxy. If
they are worthy, Brother Christopher and Joseph Charles, along with his
twine sister
Christina Charles becomes worthy to visit the Christmas Planet. A greater
reward than the presents they were given secretly by Santa himself as this
test.
The two brothers Christopher and Joseph Charles, along with his twine sister
Christina Charles then journey to the strange distant world, where Santa
Claus lives and his intergalactic work shop-that exist in the Great Northern
region of the planet, where he parks his star ship.

SS ST.Nicholas. Christmas is always celebrated on the Christmas Planet year
round between Santa Clause-aka Santa Claus, Saint Nicholas, Saint Nick,
Father Christmas, Kris Kringle as he is known in many other places-countries
and distant worlds, believes the spirit of Christmas and goodwill should be
only celebrated on December 25th,but all year around and seems to be
celebrity somewhere on some world any time of the year on their December
25th.He shows the boys and their sister the Great metropolis known as
Christmas Town or Christmas City, as it is also called. A Christmas
parade-much the Thanksgiving Parade is celebrated at different times of the
year, depending on which is celebrating Christmas at the peculiar time.
Floats, Great Thanksgiving day balloons, marching bands and Christmas Coral
singers march past the Great Father Christmas Department store, located
central in Christmas Town. The Two young boys Christopher Charles and his
younger brother Joseph
Charles. And Christina Charles are invited to ride in Santa Clauses hover
sleigh at the end of the paraide, pulled those eight tiny rain deer of
tradition -Dasher - The first reindeer and the right-hand leader of the
sleigh before Rudolph was included. He is the speediest reindeer. Dancer -
The second reindeer and the left leader before Rudolph was included. She is
the graceful reindeer. Prancer - The third reindeer and on the right in the
second row. He is the most powerful reindeer. Vixen The fourth reindeer and
on the left-hand side in the second row. She is beautiful and also powerful
like her companion Prancer. Comet - The fifth reindeer and on the right-hand
side in the third row. He brings wonder and happiness to children when Santa
flies over everyone's houses. Cupid - The sixth reindeer and on the
left-hand side in the third row. She brings love and joy to children when
Santa flies over everyone's houses. Donner - The seventh reindeer and on the
right-hand side in the fourth row. He is the "thunder" reindeer. Blitzen.
Santa then invites them to his home St.
Sinterklaas-a great mansion with the lower end of Christmas Town, where they
have Christmas Dinner with Mrs. Clause and family, plus the elves and other
strange mythical creatures.
In the end, Santa Clause gives the Brother Christopher and Joseph Charles,
along with his twine sister
Christina Charles new presents found under his Great Christmas Tree. And he
takes them home and the SS ST.Nicholas star ship arrives just a few minutes
after he left-making sure using it miraculous temporal space warp drive to
arrive anywhere on any planet at anytime he wishes. This of course, explains
just Santa Clause and his mythical sleigh can accomplish all in just one,
single Christmas Eve night. The boys and sister stand upon the snowy front
lawn, as the father and mother greet them outside-thinking they just went
outside to play in the snow, that early Christmas morning. The family looks
up to see a tiny streak of light-possibly Santa and his sleight being pulled
by eight tiny reindeer into sky hearing him say traditional ''Merry
Christmas to all and all a good night.''.
Unknowing to all ,Santa Clause and his star ship SS ST.Nicholas is moving
out of orbit, only disguised as a sleigh and eight tiny reindeer moving
outward toward the end of the solar systems, ready to warp back toward the
Christmas Planet and onto Christmas for other boys and girls all over time
and space.

Who lives at the North Pole.
Brother Christopher and Joseph Charles, along with his twine sister
Christina Charles become stowaways aboard the Santa's Sleigh-a star
Ship used by Santa Claus to deliver toys and gift from the legendary
Christmas Planet to all the many inhabitable worlds in the Milky Way
Galaxy, via its amazing warp drives engines.
On route, Santa's Star Ship malfunctions and begins to drift off
Course toward the Ebony Void, where time and space slow down around
Spaces most mysterious object-a black hole in space. Christmas
threatened all over the universe not to come this years, Santa Clause
must rely on the help of the two boys and their sister discovered
aboard his miraculous ship to help him fix his Santa's Sleigh star
Drive. Two do so they must given up three special gift given to them by
Santa Claus, that also contains major components to help fix the SS
ST.Nicholas warp drive. This of course is a secret test arranged by
Santa Clause to see if the children are not selfish and are willing to
give up their presents to save Christmas for all the other boys and
girls at the Christmas Planet and of course everywhere else in the
Milky Way Galaxy. If they are worthy, Brother Christopher and Joseph
Charles, along with his twine sister
Christina Charles becomes worthy to visit the Christmas Planet. A
greater reward than the presents they were given secretly by Santa
himself as this test.
The two brothers Christopher and Joseph Charles, along with his twine
sister
Christina Charles then journey to the strange distant world, where
Santa Claus lives and his intergalactic work shop-that exist in the
Great Northern region of the planet, where he parks his star ship.

SS ST.Nicholas. Christmas is always celebrated on the Christmas Planet
year round between Santa Clause-aka Santa Claus, Saint Nicholas, Saint
Nick, Father Christmas, Kris Kringle as he is known in many other
places-countries and distant worlds, believes the spirit of Christmas
and goodwill should be only celebrated on December 25th,but all year
around and seems to be celebrity somewhere on some world any time of
the year on their December 25th.He shows the boys and their sister the
Great metropolis known as Christmas Town or Christmas City, as it is
also called. A Christmas parade-much the Thanksgiving Parade is
celebrated at different times of the year, depending on which is
celebrating Christmas at the peculiar time. Floats, Great Thanksgiving
day balloons, marching bands and Christmas Coral singers march past the
Great Father Christmas Department store, located central in Christmas
Town. The Two young boys Christopher Charles and his younger brother
Joseph
Charles. And Christina Charles are invited to ride in Santa Clauses
hover sleigh at the end of the paraide, pulled those eight tiny rain
deer of tradition -Dasher - The first reindeer and the right-hand
leader of the sleigh before Rudolph was included. He is the speediest
reindeer. Dancer - The second reindeer and the left leader before
Rudolph was included. She is the graceful reindeer. Prancer - The third
reindeer and on the right in the second row. He is the most powerful
reindeer. Vixen The fourth reindeer and on the left-hand side in the
second row. She is beautiful and also powerful like her companion
Prancer. Comet - The fifth reindeer and on the right-hand side in the
third row. He brings wonder and happiness to children when Santa flies
over everyone's houses. Cupid - The sixth reindeer and on the left-hand
side in the third row. She brings love and joy to children when Santa
flies over everyone's houses. Donner - The seventh reindeer and on the
right-hand side in the fourth row. He is the "thunder" reindeer.
Blitzen. Santa then invites them to his home St.
Sinterklaas-a great mansion with the lower end of Christmas Town, where
they have Christmas Dinner with Mrs. Clause and family, plus the elves
and other strange mythical creatures.
In the end, Santa Clause gives the Brother Christopher and Joseph
Charles, along with his twine sister
Christina Charles new presents found under his Great Christmas Tree.
And he takes them home and the SS ST.Nicholas star ship arrives just a
few minutes after he left-making sure using it miraculous temporal
space warp drive to arrive anywhere on any planet at anytime he wishes.
This of course, explains just Santa Clause and his mythical sleigh can
accomplish all in just one, single Christmas Eve night. The boys and
sister stand upon the snowy front lawn, as the father and mother greet
them outside-thinking they just went outside to play in the snow, that
early Christmas morning. The family looks up to see a tiny streak of
light-possibly Santa and his sleight being pulled by eight tiny
reindeer into sky hearing him say traditional ''Merry Christmas to all
and all a good night.''.
Unknowing to all ,Santa Clause and his star ship SS ST.Nicholas is
moving out of orbit, only disguised as a sleigh and eight tiny reindeer
moving outward toward the end of the solar systems, ready to warp back
toward the Christmas Planet and onto Christmas for other boys and girls
all over time and space.
